Zoom is introducing its AI-powered assistant 'Zoom IQ'

Zoom, a renowned video conferencing company, has recently joined the AI trend by integrating its AI assistant, 'Zoom IQ', with OpenAI's AI chatbot ChatGPT.

According to the company, Zoom IQ's new AI capabilities will make it easier for users to accomplish their tasks.

Users can request Zoom IQ to "summarize" the contents of a meeting in real-time and ask follow-up questions if they miss the beginning or a portion of the conference.

"Zoom IQ chat compose feature simplifies the process of finding the right wording by composing and rephrasing responses for you." The company stated in a blog post, "But, you'll still be able to make those communications seem like, well, you."

Additionally, Zoom IQ can initiate a whiteboard session based on text instructions. If users step away from a meeting for an extended period of time, they will be able to access a backlog of messages.


Zoom plans to invite users to try out features such as "Zoom IQ chat compose, Zoom IQ email compose (initially available for Zoom IQ for Sales), and select Zoom IQ meeting summary" next month.

The blog post also mentions, "Zoom IQ helps by reading meeting summaries with customers and even taking into account tasks that have already been completed. Modify the email to make it your own, and then close the loop from there."
