Nintendo is bringing the party to Super Mario Run with an exciting crossover event celebrating the release of Super Mario Party Jamboree! Originally launched in 2016, Super Mario Run may not always be in the spotlight, but it continues to get fresh updates, especially when a big Nintendo Switch title drops.
Over the years, Super Mario Run has featured some fun crossover events with games like Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Princess Peach: Showtime, and more recently, Mario & Luigi: Brothership. These events let players earn special statues, unique decorations, and bonus medals while bringing fresh energy to the game.
This time around, the celebration introduces three exciting new mission types: Rainbow Galleria, Goomba Lagoon, and King Bowser's Keep. Completing these missions will earn players some awesome Mario Party-themed statues.
There are 3 types of mission sheets available!
These missions are available from Dec. 18 at 11 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) until Jan. 29 at 10:59 p.m. PT. Players can also look forward to vibrant party-themed levels, festive visuals inspired by Super Mario Party Jamboree, and stylish outfits for Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi. Kingdom Builder mode isn’t left out either—it’s getting a festive makeover with balloons, confetti, and colorful decorations.
The event runs until January 29, 2025, giving fans plenty of time to jump in, complete missions, and earn exclusive rewards. Keep an eye on the mission icon in your Kingdom Builder mode to track your progress and make the most of this limited-time celebration.
On top of the party vibes, players can take on limited-time challenges to earn extra coins, rare items, and event tickets. Completing these unlocks special rewards for your profile.
Nintendo has even teased surprise appearances from classic Mario Party mini-games, reimagined just for Super Mario Run. Get ready for some unexpected twists and familiar fun!
