The top-grossing games for August on the App Store and Google Play were "王者荣耀"(Honor of Kings), and "리니지M" (Lineage M).
After topping the revenue charts on both the App Store and Google Play in July, these two games have once again claimed the top spots in August.
However, while they continued to lead the charts in August, their revenue trends showed different patterns compared to July.
On the App Store, "Honor of Kings" secured its top position with $125,099,603 in revenue; however, this was about a 3% decrease compared to July.
On Google Play, "Lineage M" saw a significant surge, earning $97,010,138 this month, which is approximately a 31% increase from July. -
Compared to July, one newcomer made it to the top 10 download chart on the App Store. It is an RPG mobile game, "Fate/Grand Order," which saw a significant revenue increase in August, jumping up 88 places.
