March's Top Mobile Game Downloads
Here are the globally most downloaded games since last month.
Listed below are the top 10, including the estimated download numbers for March and each game's month-on-month rise or fall in the rankings.
Key information of the charts in March:
- In March, the most downloaded games on the App Store and Google Play were "Clash Royale" and "Block Blast!".
On the App Store, "Clash Royale" has risen to the Top 1 spot on the monthly download chart with 4,819,183 downloads, surpassing "Clash of Clans" which dominated the top position in January and February.
On Google Play, "Block Blast!" saw a surge in downloads in March, reaching 15,629,433 downloads and claiming the top spot on the monthly download chart.

- In March, the App Store's Top 10 download chart saw little change, with "Township" making a return to the top 10 after dropping out in February.
On the other hand, the Google Play Top 10 download chart experienced significant changes, with two newcomers, "FPS Strike Ops: Modern Arena" and "I Am Security", and "Pizza Ready" making a return to the top 10 after dropping out in February.

Top-download Mobile Game in March
The most downloaded games on the App Store and Google Play were "Clash Royale" and "Block Blast!".
"Clash Royale" - App Store
"Clash Royale" is a real-time strategy multiplayer game starring the Royales. The game reclaimed the top spot on the App Store download chart, with its last time at #1 being in October of last year.
Compared to its October 2024 victory with 5,829,128 downloads, "Clash Royale" saw a 17.3% decrease in downloads by March 2025.

According to FoxData-App Intelligence, the primary user base for this game is concentrated in the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom, with the United States accounting for a significant 62.75% of the users.
By March 15, downloads had already approached 156,030, nearing the daily average, and continued to rise, eventually peaking at 324,883 downloads on April 7.
A new in-app event launched on March 12, 2025, appears to have contributed to the rising trend in global downloads over the following days.
