Supercell has launched a new clan-based event titled Gold Rush, set to run for one week starting April 14, 2025. First teased as the "Mysterious Clan event" in the game's monthly event calendar, Gold Rush introduces fresh mechanics designed to boost player engagement and clan collaboration.
Upon the event's commencement, a dedicated building will appear adjacent to the Friend or Foe event zone. Accessing the event through the WWE belt icon leads to a specialized interface displaying clan progress, a real-time leaderboard, and available rewards.
The core objective involves accumulating a special event currency—Golden Nuggets. These can be obtained through three primary channels: harvesting gold from gold mines, collecting from the loot cart, and engaging in multiplayer attacks. However, only gold obtained through multiplayer battles (including league bonuses) will be converted into Golden Nuggets when a player's storage is at capacity. Notably, gold from Clan Wars, Goblin maps, the Builder Base, and Clan Capital activities is excluded from the event's currency system.
Golden Nuggets are pooled at the clan level to unlock milestone-based rewards. While traditional clan membership is limited to 50 players, up to 100 users can contribute to a single clan's progress in this event. Each milestone reward can only be claimed once per participant, though contributors may assist multiple clans in reaching their goals.
Importantly, a single contribution—regardless of size—ensures eligibility for rewards, provided the player is part of the clan when the milestone is achieved.
Gold Rush departs from the traditional reward structure seen in Clan Games. Participants are not required to wait until the event concludes to claim rewards. However, remaining in the clan is a prerequisite—leaving or being removed before claiming forfeits all earned items.
The reward pool includes 20 in-game chests, 750 Champion Medals, and a featured cosmetic item: the WWE Championship Belt.
