Instagram influencers would charge significantly more if they had millions of followers
Facebook and Twitter influencers charge less than Instagram influencers
TikTok campaigns see exponential growth once a user reaches 100k followers
Influencer marketing is becoming a staple in the advertising industry, with 64% of brand marketers planning to increase their influencer marketing budgets this year. Brands also prefer to establish long-term relationships with influencers. However, if you're new to influencer marketing and have been curious about how much influencers charge, a recent survey conducted by Intellifluence sheds light on the compensation of creators.
While TikTok has gained popularity and attracted talent and marketers, Instagram, owned by Meta, continues to grow its loyal user base and remains the eighth most visited app in the world.
According to the survey, influencers with less than 1k followers expect to earn around $89 per campaign. Those with 100k to 1 million followers charge approximately $1k per campaign. Surprisingly, influencers with only 1k followers overestimated the rates of influencers with 1 million followers, assuming they charged around $20k per campaign.

This indicates that influencers with a smaller following on Instagram have the potential to charge significantly higher rates if they had millions of followers.
For marketers with tighter budgets, influencers on Facebook and Twitter are more cost-effective compared to Instagram influencers, especially when targeting a larger audience. However, pricing estimates on Twitter have been increasing since 2021.
When it comes to TikTok, brands have noticed that success on the platform requires more creativity. However, TikTok videos have a 6x higher engagement rate compared to Instagram Reels.

According to the survey, estimates for TikTok campaigns start at $95 for influencers with 1k followers and increase exponentially once they reach 100k followers. This pattern is similar to what is observed on Instagram. However, once an influencer surpasses 100k followers, their rates skyrocket and continue to rise exponentially.
YouTube follows a similar trend. Given the difficulty of gaining subscribers, influencers with 1k followers on YouTube charge more than twice the rate of TikTok influencers.
