: : : Is it possible to compare what changed between labels without building a query based on time?
: : Sure. I assume you refer to view labels, rather than revision labels. You can do it as follows:
: : - Open up the view in question.
: : - Choose View/Compare, and open up another copy of the same view.
: : - Go to the first view, choose View/Select Configuration, and choose the labeled configuration you are interested in.
: : - Do the same for the second view
: : - Do the compare (Ctrl-F)!
: : There you have it.

: If you don't have a View created for the View Label that you are interested in comparing with, you need to create a new view based on that view label:
: From the menu, select:
: "View | Select Configuration..."
: Select "Labelled Configuration:" and the view label you whish to create a view from.
: From the StarTeam menu, select:
: "View | New" and give the new view a name (I would suggest that you use the View label name).
I don't see why this is necessary. StarTeam is perfectly happy to let you use the compare function on two instances of the very same view; this way, you can dynamically select different view configurations to compare.
