Discussion Forum for StarTeam Users

I've set up some working directories on Linux disks
using Samba. Sambas is configured to set rwxr-xr-x if
possible, and StartTeam is set to remove write permissions
for check-in files to avoid changing in un-locked files.
Now, if a file has r-xr-xr-x when checked out, it gets
rwxr-xr-x as it should. However, when checked in again, it gets
r-xr--r--. This is quite annoying when scripts, CGIs
etc are editied that must be executable to the web
server user, which is not the same as the editing user.
